Technology has come a long way these days.  Especially with DVD players, first there was the standard one, then there were portable ones, and now you can even  have one in your car!  Mobile DVD players with TV tuners are pretty hot right now.  Not only are you able to put on movies for your passengers during a long road trip, but you can also watch TV.  Who would have thought that this would be possible or ever become available so quickly.

Lots of the brand names are jumping in on this new trend.  Top DVD player names are now also producing mobile DVD players with TV tuners built into them.  Now, some people may be speculation that these new systems are going to be hard to operate, hard to get a signal, etc.  Well, that is why you should do some research on the ones you are interested in purchasing.  Sure, there are going to be some bad apples in the bunch, but that doesn’t mean that all of these systems are going to experience the same problems, like bad signals for the TV tuner and what not.  It is up to you whether you decide to go a cheaper route or a more expensive route.  Sometimes there are good cheap ones that deliver the same amount of quality you would expect with a brand name one.  Sometimes you are just paying for the name.

When searching for the right model for you, make sure to see what their warranty policy is like, what other customers have to say about that particular model and if they have had any problems with it or not.  Don’t let one bad review of a product turn you away though, there is always at least one person that will not like the model you may be interested in purchasing.
